I've started a series of small paintings (affordable!) based on the word "deLIGHTFUL". Playing with the word may be a bit silly, but the sentiment is meaningful. It's based on one of my favorite Bible verses, Psalms 27:4... "One thing I have desired of the Lord, that I will seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple." The word "beauty," as it is used here, means "delightfulness". So as I work on my next few paintings, I will be thinking of illustrating the Delightfulness of the Lord: His lighter hand in our lives, His softer touch. Perhaps they will make you more aware of His delightfulness peeking in to your life as well !
