One of the disadvantages (there ARE some!) of being an artist is that I often see what I want to see. Or I see what COULD be rather than what IS. The other day my husband was looking at the original of this painting and pointed out that I need a proof-reader. I had left out the word "to" after "plant". I had penciled it in but not painted it (perhaps you noticed...). I guess that's not as bad as the time I painted a woman with six fingers... framed and sold. Yep!
