Take A Break!

Sometimes the Christmas season just seems like work. There's unloading decorations with the understanding that all this stuff will have to be packed up again in just a few weeks. I always put off buying gifts until the season gets underway because every time I've purchased something early, I've changed my mind by the time Christmas actually arrives. So I have to leave my preferred habitat, the studio, and venture out into my least favorite environment, the shopping world. Grumble, grumble...yep, I'm a Scrooge. But this year we've got snow! There's nothing like snow to make everything look like Christmas, even if it's the California version of the stuff. So I'm going to stop grumbling, take a break from the work, and breathe in the beauty of Christmas, nature's style. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son..."
