Bits and Pieces of Spring

It's been raining around here...a lot. But every few days the sun manages to win the weather battle and remind me that spring is aching to show itself. Those glorious days, and today was one, are the "bits and pieces" that manage to break through the last of winter. It won't be long before we see the full bouquet of clear, mild, gentle days that make up spring in the foothills. Bit and Pieces of Spring is a floral collection also waiting to be made into a full spring bouquet. The canvas was filled with bits (and pieces!) of brightly-colored paper brought together by thin layers of acrylic paint. Spring in the making...
